Time and Time again my own therapist would say, “We have to call things what they are.”, and when looking at issues that I have dealt with, I couldn’t begin to explain how much that statement has helped me in my personal and professional growth. If it wasn’t for therapy I wouldn’t be where I am today, and I believe that can be true for so many others who deserve to have a safe and healing space to bring anything they are working/struggling through.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, graduated from Campbellsville University with my Master in Marriage and Family Therapy. I work with individuals from a social justice/trauma-informed mindset. My focus is Solution Focused Brief Therapy informed (SFBT) and on the front of trauma, I am basic trained in NET (Neuro-Emotional Technique). This gives clients a way to work through their trauma as we find solutions and coping mechanisms that will help healing begin. Though this is my primary focus, that does not mean I won’t work from other modalities. What you need is the direction I will go. I focus on working with individuals with topics ranging from Anxiety, Depression, previous traumas, self-esteem issues, issues inside of singleness, etc.
