About Scott Kaminsky, LMFT, NCC
Received his B.A. degree in Biblical Studies in 1981, a Master of Divinity degree in 1987, and a Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family counseling in 1999. Presently, Scott Kaminsky is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage & Family Counseling at Denver Seminary.
Reverend Kaminsky has served over 23 years as an Army Chaplain. His Active Duty assignments included: Fort Polk, LA; Fort Campbell, KY; Vicenza, Italy (two tours); Fort Benning, GA; Fort Drum, NY; Fort Stewart, GA and Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN. Chaplain Kaminsky has also served two tours in Iraq, one tour in Haiti, and one tour in Kuwait.
After retiring with over 23 years of Active Duty Service, Mr. Kaminsky worked as a Clinical Therapist at New Options; a Marriage & Family Therapist for the VA, a Military Family Life Counselor for soldiers and their families stationed at Fort Campbell, KY and Fort Bragg, NC.
Mr. Kaminsky specializes in pre-marital counseling, marital & family therapy, military population issues, PTSD/trauma, mood disorders, divorce care and grief work.
